F1 & Racing MacBook Wallpapers: 4K Oil-Painting Ideas for Car Fans
If you follow Formula 1, MotoGP or just love cars, your MacBook screen is the easiest place to show it. Photos of race cars are everywhere – a painted version is rarer. Here are six racing collections from our library, all painted in thick oil-style brushstrokes and sized in 4K for MacBook.
1. Lights Out – night races and street circuits
Night races, rain-soaked street circuits and the moments after the chequered flag. This is the closest to a race-weekend feeling on your desktop: floodlights, wet tarmac and colour everywhere.

2. Full Throttle – superbikes
Superbikes in the pit garage at sunset, a deep lean into a corner and a rider with arms wide open. Made for two-wheel fans.
3. Wind Tunnel – black-and-white hypercars
Hypercars wrapped in flowing wind lines, in black and white. A calmer, more minimal option if bright colours distract you while you work.
4. Garage – iconic sports cars
Sports cars in red, blue and white, parked like studio portraits on textured canvas. Six wallpapers, so you can rotate a different car every day of the work week.
5. Wild Machines – supercars and big cats
Supercars sharing the frame with big cats and wild animals. Loud, bold and very hard to ignore.
6. Formula 1 – race day on your desktop
Palm-lined hairpins, red-and-white kerbs and the chequered flag: Monaco Hairpin, Red Line, The Esses, Chequered Flag and Rain Master. Five wallpapers for anyone who plans their weekend around the race calendar.

Tips for a racing desk setup
- Match the colours. Pick one accent colour from the wallpaper (racing red, papaya orange, British green) and repeat it once on the desk – a mouse pad, a cable or a small model car.
- Rotate automatically. On macOS go to System Settings → Wallpaper, add the folder with your wallpapers and turn on “Rotate”. A new race every hour.
- Use the same art on your phone. Several of our collections also include iPhone versions, so your lock screen and laptop match.
