Travel Wallpapers for MacBook: Riviera, Japan, Greece & the North

A travel wallpaper is a small daily escape: one look and you are somewhere warmer, calmer or simply far away. These collections are painted in oil style and sized in 4K, so they stay sharp on a Retina screen.

The French Riviera

Saint-Tropez: yachts on cobalt water, the famous road sign and café tables. Also see Riviera Sun (classic cars by the sea and speedboats) and Harbour Lights (a night on the Riviera with moonlit yachts).

Japan

Kyoto Zen: torii gates, raked sand and red maple leaves in calm, pale tones – one of the most relaxing collections we have. For more energy, Far East adds Mount Fuji and neon city streets.

Greece and the Mediterranean

Aegean: Greek statues, Mediterranean light and bright island beaches, with iPhone versions included. Hidden Coves and Blue Summer continue the summer mood.

Brazil

Brasil: Rio from above, the Selarón steps and palm-lined beaches in full colour.

The far north

Nordic: fjords, colourful harbour houses and mountain-view windows. A cool, quiet palette for long winter evenings.

Tip: match your wallpaper to your next trip

Planning a holiday? Put the destination on your screen as a countdown. And if you cannot choose, the Complete Library has every collection in one download.

Choosing a travel wallpaper for your MacBook

Match the season – or escape it. In winter, a sunny Riviera or Brazilian beach is a small daily holiday; in summer, the cool blues of Nordic or the calm of Kyoto Zen feel refreshing.

Light or dark desktop? Bright Mediterranean scenes like Riviera Sun and Blue Summer suit Light Mode; evening coves and fjords work better with Dark Mode.

Keep your phone in the same place. Saint-Tropez and Aegean include iPhone versions, so both screens can show the same coast. See our guide to matching MacBook and iPhone wallpapers.
